Description: Mount Merapi is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia, therefore it is not uncommon for cold lava flows to flow down the rivers below, and it is not uncommon for this cold lava to be like a very destructive flood. Therefore, Sabo Dam was built which is spread across various river points that have the potential to become cold lava flows around Mount Merapi.
