- Description: The Axel Springer Building, located in Berlin and designed by acclaimed architect Rem Coolhas, is one of the jewels of contemporary Berlin architecture. When I first visited this building I immediately imagined a huge mineral geode and that was what inspired the title and composition for this capture.
