- Description: Fishing in the Inle Lake is one of the livelihood activities. Agriculture, farming and fishing. When they go fishing, they row the boats with their feet instead of with their hands. When fishing, they use big bamboo basket fishing gear made of bamboo sticks. These fishermen can not use the usual fishing technique where they simply sit down or throw a net to catch fish.
