Description: In a recent study by a team of Indian and Chinese scientists, this new species of fungi was discovered near Mawlynnong (East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya) and Krang Shuri (West Jaintia Hills District, Meghalaya) and was named Roridomyces Phyllostachydis. In a recent nocturnal survey during the monsoon of 2024, we came across the same species and were happy to photograph them at the peak of their luminous display.
