- Description: This dead tree is part of a forest which burned a few years ago, up on Madeira's high mountain slopes. I shot it right after sunset, when the sky was vibrant and the remainders of a sea of clouds were leaving the island. The soft tones and colors complemented the dead tree's whiteness well.
