- Description: The light was amazingly soft that evening, with a glowing sky. I wanted a picture with some contrasting colors and a beautiful foreground. I therefore hiked around the rocks in that part of the desert and found these wild Sea Squill plants. The blue-green of their leaves contrasted with the desert's red sands well, and their dried up flower stems framed the peak beautifully.
