- Description: I've been obsessed with these flowers (echium) since my first visit to the Canary Islands a few years ago because they look like small jewels. They have very bright colors which vary from island to island, and even from bush to bush, even though they grow wild next to each other ! These three pink stems caught my eye as there were few of that color around.
