Description: After visiting the impressive Athirappilly waterfalls, we went to the river nearby to wait for a herd wild Asian Elephants, who like to forage along the river during dusk.
It was magical to see the sun setting behind these tall trees along the river bank, to see small children playing in the river, and the endangered great hornbills roost on top the top branch, while the sun sets behind them.
