- Description: I was exhilarated to be in the presence of humpback whales for the first time in my life. I have to say, that whales are not the easiest subjects to photograph. However, I’m particularly proud of this effort capturing a whale ‘fluking’ its tail. I converted the photograph to black and white to emphasise the austerity of the arctic surroundings.
