- Description: An image taken during a winter night in the heart of the Finnish Lapland; to reach the spot, I had to hike for about 30 minutes with snowshoes. Shooting the northern lights with a full moon was something that I’ve rarely done before; before last year, I mostly planned my trips around the new moon, to get those “juicy” dark skies where you see a bazillion stars in the sky.
