This image was composed from a narrow cave a few hundred meters away from the main landscape. From inside, the mountain naturally appears slightly off-center, so I blended a separate exposure of the mountain taken just outside the cave to reframe the composition. The auroras were photographed from the same location the night before. Multiple perspectives and moments were combined to recreate the scene as I had originally envisioned it.
